Kurt J. Engemann is the director of the Center for Business Continuity and Risk Management and professor of Information Systems in the Hagan School of Business at Iona College. He has consulted professionally over the past thirty years in the area risk management decision modeling for major organizations and has been instrumental in the development and implementation of comprehensive business continuity management programs. Dr. Engemann is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) with the Disaster Recovery Institute International. Professor Engemann is the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Business Continuity and Risk Management and the International Journal of Technology, Policy and Management. He teaches courses in the areas of Business Continuity, Risk Management, Systems Development, Operations Management, and Decision Support Systems. Dr. Engemann is Distinguished Professor at The International Institute for Advanced Studies in Systems Research and Cybernetics. He has a Ph.D. in Operations Research from New York University and has published extensively in the area of risk management and decision modeling.
