Dr. Owen P. Hall, Jr. holds the Julian Virtue Professorship and the Rothschild Applied Research Fellowship. He is a Full Professor of Decision Sciences at the George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management, Pepperdine University. Dr. Hall is the recipient of the Charles Luckman, Howard A. White, and Sloan teaching excellence awards. He has over 35 years of academic and industry experience. He is a registered professional engineer, State of California. Dr. Hall is the author of several textbooks on computer based decision-making and has written extensively on cloud based collaboration, data mining and digital learning. He is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma and Delta Mu Delta Honor Societies. Dr. Hall is also a member of the INFORMS Analytics committee. He recently received a grant from GMAC to design a collaboration network for enhancing graduate management education.  He received his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and undertook post-doctoral studies at the Center for Futures Research.

Tenured Professor of Decision Sciences, George Graziadio School of Business &
Management, Pepperdine University, 1992 – Present. Dr. Hall was promoted to Full
Professor in 1989. He has taught in the residential, executive and fully employed programs.
Dr. Hall has introduced and expanded the use of hybrid learning nets over the past five
