Ph.D. in Political Economy from the University of Texas at Dallasin 1989 and became a naturalized US citizen in 1991. I am a strong subscriberto the ideals of interdisciplinary education.

His first teaching engagement was as a tenure-track assistant professorat Iowa State University's Political Science Department. He taught at IowaState from 1989-1991. He moved to Arizona in search of warmer climate in1991.

Since 1991, He has taught in the School of Public Affairs at ArizonaState University. Currently, He am a tenured professor.  Between 1994-1996,I served as the director of the School of Public Affairs's master of publicadministration program. Between 1996-2000, He served as the director ofASU's interdisciplinary doctor of public administration program. (Informationabout the DPA program is available through the School of Public Affairs His work space at the Universityis in Wilson Hall, an early 20th century brick building that is positionedNorth/South by the main library.
