Ph.D. in Political Economy from the University of Texas at Dallasin 1989 and became a naturalized US citizen in 1991. I am a strong subscriberto the ideals of interdisciplinary education.

His first teaching engagement was as a tenure-track assistant professorat Iowa State University's Political Science Department. He taught at IowaState from 1989-1991. He moved to Arizona in search of warmer climate in1991.

Since 1991, He has taught in the School of Public Affairs at ArizonaState University. Currently, He am a tenured professor.  Between 1994-1996,I served as the director of the School of Public Affairs's master of publicadministration program. Between 1996-2000, He served as the director ofASU's interdisciplinary doctor of public administration program.
